I thought it would be fun to keep a page of the music I’m listening to, the books I’m reading, and the movies and TV shows I’m watching. However, maintaining a page to accurate reflect the most recent movies I watched when I occasionally watch two in a day and regularly watch multiple in a week was burdensome. Posting cover art for the albums I was currently listening to was an even bigger pain which made me question what “counted” if I listen to several hours of music almost every day. For music, I don’t stream so there’s not a great way to to keep that current. I have instead opted to just put Running with the Hurricane in perpetuity because it is the best album I have heard since back when The Lawrence Arms put out Oh! Calcutta! and Lagwagon put out Resolve and then Bad Astronaut put out Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappoint. Or maybe it’s the best album since Camp Cope put out How to Socialise & Make Friends. With that said, I would love to chat about some new artist I just discovered or some old album I’m falling in love with all over again so hit me up.
I suppose it’s easy enough to put the books I’m currently reading consider that I’m a slow reader and often find myself in such despair at the state of the world that I just try to rot my brain with social media or movies.
